public class SilverpeasException
extends Exception

Exception thrown explicitly by a treatment in Silverpeas to signal a failure in its execution.

All the checked exceptions that are explicitly raised by a treatment in Silverpeas should extend this class. An instance of this class can be directly used to throw an anonymous exception in Silverpeas with, as a detailed message, the reason of the exception.

Constructs a new exception with the specified detail message. The cause is not initialized, and may subsequently be initialized by a call to Throwable.initCause(java.lang.Throwable).

Parameters:

message - the detail message. The detail message is saved for later retrieval by the Throwable.getMessage() method.

parameters - message parameters if message is a pattern.

Constructs a new exception with the specified detail message and cause.

Note that the detail message associated with cause is not automatically incorporated in this exception's detail message.

Parameters:
